He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Berg and George Berg; his wife Gayle Berg; and his grandson Ethan Strauser. He is survived by: his stepfather Glen Tyler; his former wife Joan Miller of Walla Walla; his children, Kayla Strauser (Mike), Kari Rimbey (Steve), Allen Berg, Javin Berg (Laura) and Teresa Pettyjohn (Howard); his brothers, Gary Tyler and Russ Nielson; and his stepbrother Johnny Tyler. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
