She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew Bro; her sister Cornelia Ann Petefish (Carpenter); and her parents, Forrest Carpenter and Ada Pearl Carpenter. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Bro (Chad) of Walla Walla, WA and Gustav "Gus" Bro of Santa Barbara, CA; and her brother Aaron Kurtz Carpenter (Emily) of Clatskanie, OR. She is also survived by several cousins.
