It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Rose Neal of Vashon Island, Washington, born in Seattle, Washington, who passed away on February 25, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her son Jimmy; her husband Jim Neal (Hall The Spanish Castle); her sister Irene Dufort; and her children, Kathy Winge (Carl), Joe Neal, Diane Kukull (Walter), Teresa Walsh (John) and Michelle Neal (Ralph Pooler). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She worked at the preschool for 26 years, having to retire when Covid arrived in 2020.
