He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Dowdy and Mary Dowdy of Blytheville; and his sister Carol Whitner of Little Rock, AR.. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Dowdy; his sisters, Mary Hardy of Fayetteville, AR and Lynn Powell of Barlet, TN; and his daughter Kristina Goff. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Blytheville, AR, or the charity of choice.
