Clara Ruth Van (Jansma) Kley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Ruth Van (Jansma) Kley of Vancouver, Washington, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Jansma and Elliot Jansma; and her siblings, Richard, William, Elliot, Jr., Tillie, Grace, Cora, Michael, Peter, Joyce, Donald and James.
She is survived by: her brothers, Arthur and Carl; her sons, David Van Kley (Arlene) of Gwinn, Michigan, Marc Van Kley (Cheryl) of Stockbridge, Georgia, Byron Van Kley (Traci) of Vancouver, Washington and Wesley Van Kley of Asheville; her grandchildren, Emily, Nicholas, Constance, Christopher, Daniel, Joshua, Jacob, Hannah, Sara, Abigail, Carson, Nathan, Shane and Baylie; and her great grandchildren, Rudy, Abraham, Sydney, Ida, Eva, Ellie, Esther, Bridget, Luca, Emmett, Harrison and Nico. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Columbia Presbyterian Church (805 Columbia Ridge Dr, Vancouver, WA 98664). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Final Resting Place Oak Ridge Cemetery (1881 Thornton Lansing Rd, Lansing, IL 60438).
