She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charlie Orval Tipton and Verna Jean Higgins; her siblings, Sally Roberts, Brett and Buddy Arnett; her children, Willie Thompson (William) and Candy Dorsey Thompson; and her grandchildren, Tyler and Lilly Morrison (Donald Cobbs).

A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Sharon Seventh-Day Adventist Church (5209 NE 22nd Ave, Portland, OR 97211).
