She is survived by: her sister Rachel Parnell (Fred) of Hickory, NC; and her daughters, Ethel Murphy (John) of Lusby, MD., Ellen Benson and Barbara Shumate (Roger) of Tacoma, WA.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
