She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Sylvester and Ruby Watts; and her siblings, Jerry Sims (Wanda), Larry, Priscilla and Shirley Austin.
She is survived by: her husband Milton Turner; her sons, Milton Jr., Donnell, Redding and Lance James (Jeannie); her sisters, Gloria Austin Putman (David) and Phyllis Woodard; her grandchildren, Whitney Turner-Mayo (Zach), Aranesa Turner, Darius and Jayden James; and her great grandchildren, Myles, Norah, Cayden and Shalom. She is also survived by cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and friends.
She also served on the Oasis of Hope Board and the Oasis of Hope Foundation Board as president.
