He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Aarrestad; his parents, Tolleif Aarrestad and Rakel Aarrestad; his siblings, Aadne Aarrestad (Gladys), Gertrude Gear (Lester), Thoralf Aarrestad and Ragnar Aarrestad (Violet); and his brother-in-law Cecil Paul.
He is survived by: his children, Rachel Schmutz (Jurgen), Joe Aarrestad (Denise), Shirley Aarrestad and Rosemary Aarrestad (John Foxall); his grandchildren, Karina Becker (Jonathan), Felicia Schmutz, Brianna Aarrestad, Nicholus Aarrestad, Shannon Mlinar (Ive) and Jordan Foxall (Danae); his great grandchildren, Louis Becker, Sophie Becker, Charlotte Becker, Eva Becker, Luka Mlinar and Leo Mlinar; his siblings, Alma Latus (Warren), Maria Paul and Norman Aarrestad (Eileen); and his sister-in-law Noreen Aarrestad.
