We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2024, at the age of 94, Evelyn Mae Jones of Union Gap, Washington, born in Wapato, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Evelyn Mae may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Verlie Davis (Barr) and Clifford Davis; her husband Junior Jones; and her former husband Leroy Dorsett. She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Orth (Terry); and her granddaughters, Erin Hamilton (Braden) and Kristen Hursh (Zack). She is also survived by three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Union Gospel Mission, an organization close to Evelyn's heart, is appreciated.
