He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Brasher; his children, Gene Brasher Jr. of Shelton, Sherry Stacy (Mike) of Tumwater, Cindy Weyrauch (Tod) of Tenino, April Fagerness (Dennis) of Rochester and Bret Brasher (Julie) of Edgewood; his nephews, Mike O'Hara (Kim), Tim O'Hara (May) and Kevin O'Hara (Renee); his grandchildren, Tony, Melissa, Daniel, Kelly, Andrew, Joshua, Steven, Stephanie, Sam, Joanna, Naomi, Jesse, Krista, Caleb, Angie, Aaron, Kirsten, Jonathan, Jennifer, Sheila, Sean, Sandra and Kyle; his parents, Isaac Brasher and Gladys Brasher; and his siblings, Mary, Mickey, Alton, Glenda, Katherine, Juanita and Charlotte.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tumwater First Baptist Church (405 X St SE, Tumwater, WA 98501).
