He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oren Carpenter and Agnes Carpenter; his wife Edna; and his children, Karen Carpenter, Gordon Carpenter (Jan Carpenter), Beverly Carpenter (Steve Bryant), Russ Carpenter (Shellie Carpenter) and Debbie Wyman (Ralph Wyman). He was also cherished by grandchildren and great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
