He was predeceased by: his parents, Taputapu Umupeni and Filimaua Aulaumea; and his siblings, Uatea Fesili and Opapo Mafua. He is survived by: his sons, Asoiva Jr., Jeremiah K. and Matthew K. The; his friend Magni Hinsee; and his siblings, Aigafealofani James, Teuaililo Ueligitone and Toetu Mafua. He is also survived by loving papa by his 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
