He was predeceased by: his siblings, Helen, Dorothy, Lewis and Jamie; and his grandsons, Neil Anderson and Robert Schaeffer.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine Brock; and his children, Bev Barnett (Wayne), Sally Harpe (Lyle), Rich Anderson (Char) and Shirley Schaeffer (Terry). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
