She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wornell and Imogene Wornell; and her siblings, Dorothy Wornell and LeRoy Wornell. She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, David Long (Vickie) of Yakima, Steve Long (Radene) of Yakima, Janette Lint (Randy) of Toppenish and John Long (Sina) of Petersburg, VA; and her brother John Wornell (Leslie) of Yakima. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, with two more on the way; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends.

Donations in Phyllis's name may be made to the Union Gospel Mission in Yakima.
