He was predeceased by: his father Melecio Sanzon; his wife Carmella; his brother Gabriel; and his nephew Armando. He is survived by: his mother Francisca Torrez; his siblings, Maria of Mexico, Lupe of Mexico, Celia of Mexico, Carmen of Mexico, Martin of Mexico and Jose Sanzon (Isidra) of Wapato; his daughters, Joanna Ortega of South Carolina and Mattie Bazan (Juan) of Wapato; and his grandchild Soledad Vidrio. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
