He is survived by: his mother Rosa Marie Martinez; his wife Laura Osorio; his children, Mario Jr. (Eva), Rosa, Kayla, Lyza and Brianna; his granddaughter Auriela; and his siblings, Sergio Sanchez, Johnny, Antonio Martinez Jr. and Tere Fuentes.

“Sending my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to all of the Sanchez and Osorio Familias, from the Sanchez Familia(Frank and Rose)...I met both Mario and Sergio when we all worked together at Wa. Beef in Toppenish and I quickly became friends with them, somewhere around the early 90's. Shared a lot of Beers and laughs with those 2 jokers from Eagle Pass,Tejas...you were, and will always be my Friend...R.I.P. Mario...”
