She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Abitia and Rachael Abitia; her husband Manuel Zapien; her daughter Carol Carrillo; her son-in-law James Carrillo; and her siblings, Jenny Jorgensen and Jim Abitia.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Stephanie Casillas; and her grandson-in-law Clint Mcmurray. She is also survived by 5 sisters and 2 Brothers and many nieces & nephews and many children.
