He is survived by: his wife Mary Yutzy; his brother Marvin Dachtler of Bismarck; his sons, Steven (Tina) of Iowa City, IA and Deron (Angela) of Tonasket, WA; his grandchildren, Dylan Pritchard (Tabitha), Cassie Pritchard, Olivia, Jada Dachtler, Joselyn and John Dachtler; and his great grandchildren, Matigan, Emanuel, Elijah, Lucy Pritchard and Samuel Dachtler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
