It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Springer of Toledo, Washington, born in Mabton, Washington, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his children, Doug Springer and Patti Leeper; his son-in-law Randy; his granddaughter Katie Bettendorf (Casey); his great grandchild Attie; his grandson Noah Springer (Kendall); his great grandchildren, Brody and Braylon; and his grandchildren, Kelsey Leeper (Berk) of Houston and Brock Leeper.
He was concerned that someone might contract COVID while congregating to honor his memory.
Memorial donations may be made to the Toledo Elementary or Middle School libraries or the Toledo High School scholarship fund.
