He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth Hughes and Stella Hughes; and his brother Arthur Hughes. He is survived by: his children, David Hughes and Evelyn Sue Hughes; his siblings, Loveta Simensen (Bob), Jean Ashbrooks (Dewane) and Ron Hughes (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Shaena Peebles (Owen) and Mikhail Peebles. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
