He was predeceased by: his son Wesley Ben Barnes; his grandson Ben Wesley Barnes; his siblings, Helen Katherine Chase, Betty Joan Fuhrman, Harold Loyd Barnes and Chester Paul; and his parents, Cecil Chester Barnes and Katherine E Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Earlene J Riddle; his daughter Patsy Barnes Boze (Douglas Norman Boze); his granddaughters, Katie Felicia Zimmerman, Sara Anne Perez and Kala Barnes; and his siblings, Jonny Lee Barnes and Patsy Sue Huffman.
