He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Sully" Pope and Rose Chenois; his children, Clarence, Clifford and Vanessa Pope; and his brothers, Charles "Cigar" Cultee and Frankie Pope Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Dora Underwood (Hayden); his children, Alicia Pope of Taholah, Franklin Pope Sr. (Anna) of Usk, Virginia Brings Yellow (John) of Taholah, Frederick Pope Sr. (Kierstin) of Taholah, Lucretia Pope of Taholah, Mark Smiley of Hoquiam, Tom Hayden Sr. (Wanda) of Oakville and Merle Youckton of Oakville; his grandchildren, Shawna Brady (Robbie), Teresa Pope, Jeana Pope, Franklin Pope Jr., Dora Davis (Rollie), JC Brings Yellow, Ruby Pope, Frederick Pope Jr., Tom Hayden Jr., Jim Hayden, Ni-Tai-Ya Willison, Justin Youckton, Angie Boyd, Rita Benda (Brian) and Patricia Youckton; his great grandchildren, Charlotte Pope, Sophie Brady, Rowan Brady, Robbie Brady II, Vivian Kieffer, Leo Kieffer, Bonnie Kieffer, Clarence Kieffer, Vega Pope-Jackson, Raiden Pope-Jackson, Willa Pope, Justice Brown, Julia Miranda, Jr., Klatush, Aneva McMallion and Valene Klatush; and his sisters, Laura Eselin (Howard) and Pamela Woods. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to a one-time scholarship fund established for Taholah High School and North Beach High School.
