It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sj Gerard Chapdelaine (Tacoma, Washington), who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Sj may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He is survived by: his sisters, Denise Brule, Therese Brulotte, Anita Kernie and Elizabeth Chalupa. He is also survived by 16 loving nieces and nephews.
A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Bellarmine Preparatory School (2300 S Washington St, Tacoma, WA 98405). A Mass was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
