We bid farewell to Ellen Carver Smith of Tacoma, Washington, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 21, 2025 at the age of 96. Ellen Carver touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Carver; her daughter Gloria Daniels (Allen Carver); and her parents, William Cummins and Mary Ann Cummins. She is survived by: her children, Debra Bauer (John), Michael Carver (Theresa) and Donna Stewart (Bob); her grandchildren, Aleena Bauer (Robert Mitchell), Matthew Wilcoxen, Cheryl Wilcoxen, Andrew Carver (Tiffany) and Allen Carver; her great grandchildren, Phebe (Scott), Karlye, Michael, Mariah, Violet, Brenden and Brooklyn; and her great great grandchildren, Samson, AnnaLisa and Winry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Evergreen Chapel (9221 Chambers Creek Rd W, Tacoma, WA 98467). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Tacoma Cemetery (9221 Chambers Creek Rd W, Tacoma, WA 98467). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Southside Baptist Church (626 S 86th St, Tacoma, WA 98444).
