He was predeceased by: his mother Darlene K Schmitcke; and his grandparents, Helen Hendrickson, Amanda, Victor Wyant, Emma and Otto Schmitcke.

He is survived by: his father Larry D. J. Schmitcke; and his daughter Kylee Nimietz.
