She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulrich Mettler and Augusta Mettler; her husband Joseph Frank Hennig; her brother Robert; and her great grandchild Vivian.

She is survived by: her children, David, Daniel, Douglas, BettieJo, John, James, Bonnie Jean and Roberta; and her brother Ulrich (Yvonne). She is also survived by her eight children and their spouses, her 19 grandchildren and 12 spouses, and 14 great-grandchildren.
