He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Isabell Jasso and Margarito Jasso; his children, Ruben Jr. and Ruby Jasso (George Gomez Jr.); his stepchildren, Ashley and Cassandra Cazares; his grandchildren, Naythin, Sean Rios, Aybree Torres, Audrey Martin and Lilah Gomez; and his siblings, Art, Mino, Richard, Maria and Irma.
