He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Funk and Della Funk; and his son Michael Funk. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Giffen (Cassie); his siblings, Wayne, Lynn, Marilyn and Regina; his children, Cathy Kelley (Mike), Dale Funk (Stephanie) and David Funk (Waylan); and his daughter-in-law Karlynn. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
