It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Claude Wise (Sunnyside, Washington), born in Ottumwa, Iowa, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Wise and Winonna Burns Wise; and his sister Starr Richardson (Skeet). He is survived by: his children, Kenneth (Roxana Julia) of New York and Kathleen Ann Dalbeck (Mark Dalbeck) of Washington; his grandchildren, Mateo, Franco Julia-Wise, Brandon, Alysia and Nick Dalbeck; and his sister Connie Seaburg (Jerry).

“We grieve the death of Larry and offer our heartfelt sympathies to Barbara and his wider family. Earlier this month we were able to visit Larry and Barbara in Sunnyside and are grateful for that and the memories it will allow us to have. Larry was a serious intellectual (doctorate from Gonzaga University) and exceptionally able in the classic American sports of football, basketball and baseball. We will miss him. And we hope to live our lives well enough to join him with the Lord. John, Chris S.”
