She is survived by: her sons, Gilbert Borrego (Malinda), Rogelio Borrego Jr. Glenda (Noemi) and Francisco Samaniego; her grandchildren, Miranda Borrego, Elyssa Borrego, Gilbert Borrego III, Ely Borrego Kasandra Borrego, Roy Borrego, Cheyanne Sterling, Sean Sterling, Lexany, Isaiah, Deandre, Marie, Victoria, Damon and Alejandro Samaniego; her sisters, Dora Garza, Angie Robles Suarez (Francisco) and Maria Riojas (Rick); and her nieces, Yvonne Garza and Debbie Marez Guerrero. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
