He is survived by: his wife Carmen Sandoval (Esqueda); his daughters, Stephanie Swanson (Ryan) and Jennifer Hickenbottom (Shane); his grandchildren, Querina, Zabella Hickenbottom and Max Swanson; and his sisters, Virginia Valenzuela (Jesse) and Maria Riggs (Jeff). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
