He is survived by: his wife Martha Patiña; and his children, Rene Patiña, Evelia Ludwig (Ed), Elia Vargas (Nick), Maria Cardenas (Leroy), Albesa Ramos (Armando) and Zelia Cook (David). He is also survived by 19 grandkids and 12 great grandkids.
