He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Gonzalez and Francisca Alba Gonzalez; his son Johnny Jess Gonzalez; and his granddaughters, Karmin Isley and Cecelia Frances Gonzalez.

He is survived by: his wife Carmen Gonzalez of Yakima.
