He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Valentine Ambuehl and Ursula Ambuehl; his daughter Cynthia Altman; his siblings, Valentine and Margaret Rickert (Fohn); his wife Virginia Ambuehl; his daughter Christi Horton (Bob); his granddaughters, Melissa Berglund (Jason), Megan Horton and Paris Burns (Jake); and his siblings, Andrew Ambuehl (Donna) and Ruth Richtmyer (Richard). He was also cherished by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
