It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edmond Carlson (Sumner, Washington), who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Edmond Carlson to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Carlson and Grace Carlson; and his daughter Mary (late Peggy). He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, John (Barbara) and Willow (Gary); his brother Wes (Myrtle); and his stepsons, Joe (Tami), Greg and Jeff (Lolita). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sumner City Cemetery (12324 Valley Ave E, Puyallup, WA 98372).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Wounded Warriors.
