He was predeceased by: his parents, David Schaefer and Rosalie Schaefer. He is survived by: his wife Terry Ricks; his sons, Christopher (Becky) and Andrew (Matt); his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Gretchen and Joanna; his siblings, Ron, Karen, John (Ann), Karl, Denise (Sean), Don, Micheal (Kelly) and Paul (Sandra); and his goddaughters, Breena and Katie.
