She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard H. Oliver and Henrietta C. Oliver; her siblings, Evelyn Schoffen and Dale Oliver (Cliff Gregerson); her niece Carolyn Hoelscher (Buck); and her nephew Nicholas Schoffen.

She is survived by: her brother Richard J. Oliver (Doro); her niece Cathy Thomas (Jay); her nephews, Derek Schoffen (Julie), Richard D. Oliver (Nancy) and Scot Oliver (Cheryl); her spouse Sergeant Cliff Gregerson; and also Dale. She is also survived by nine great nieces and nephews, and 15 great-great nieces and nephews.

“I am very saddened to learn of Helen's passing. She was our great friend for over 20 years and we knew her to be kind and warm and valued her family above everything. She always had a great smile and a welcoming demeanor. When we were neighbors, my cat Millie would go to Helen's house everyday and lay on her lap. Helen had a great love for her pen pals and travel. We loved talking with her and hearing about her parent's history in the community. I will miss you Helen.”
