He was predeceased by: his parents, Rebecca Schweigert and Phillip Schweigert; his wife Valarie Nash; his siblings, Rich, Dave, Jerry and Sharon; and his grandson Trey.

He is survived by: his sons, Ron Schweigert Jr. Bill (Navy) of Mount Vernon, Jay Schweigert (Karla) of Lynden and Scott Schweigert (Tracie) of Mount Vernon; and his sister Karen Willemsen (Henry) of Everson. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
