It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leota M. Vander Molen of Sumas, Washington, born in Lynden, Washington, who passed away on February 10, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bernard VanDiest and Nellie VanDiest (VanWeerthiuzen); her husband Donald Vander Molen; her siblings, Judith and Gary; her children, Delores, Janet (Don), Duane (Patricia), Arlene (Case), Valerie (Mike), Renee (Orv) and Randy (Linn); and her siblings, Marge, Ruth, Bern and Alvin. She was also cherished by 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
