He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Saunders and Martha Saunders (Springle); his wife Nancy; his sons, Caleb Saunders and Reed Saunders; his stepchildren, Beth Edwards (CJ) and Kris Lobdell (Emily); his stepgrandchildren, Zoe, Reed, Luke, Ellie and Brody; his sister Linda; his nieces, Kristin Schwall and Heidi Wirtz; and his nephew Steven Wirtz (Shannon Nelson-Deighan).
