He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Kermit Barchus and Florence Barchus (Hoots). He is survived by: his parent-in-law Montie O. Smith; his children, Terry L. Barchus and Lisa M. Barchus (Kerr); his grandsons, Bryan Z. Kerr and Austin R. Kerr; his great grandchild Layla Grace Kerr; and also, Terry L. Barchus and Lisa M. Barchus (Kerr).
