She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Shelton and Maude Shelton; her husband John Church; her sister Lorraine McIntosh; her daughters, Brenda (Jeffrey Spreen) and Carla (John Donohue); her grandchildren, Kayla (Michael Thom), Nicholas (Kim Donohue) and Melissa (Carlos Ortiz); and her great grandchildren, Melvin, Malcolm Thom and Nataley Donohue.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
