He was predeceased by: his father Glen Norris Peterson; his sister Kari Beth Peterson; and his grandparents, Lillian Ovedia, Peter Hilmer Peterson, Martha Josephine and Jeffry Morris Sandness.
He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Peterson Ihde (Sandness); his stepfather John Ihde of Mount Vernon; his children, Ty Glen Peterson of Soap Lake and Melanie Anne Obertacz (Aaron Obertacz); his granddaughter Madelyn Annette Obertacz of Soap Lake; his daughter Megan Sarah Fitsch (Sean Fitsch); his grandchildren, Ayden of Wenatchee and Liam Strampher of Wenatchee; and his siblings, Kenn Lewis Peterson (Jennifer Peterson) of Big Lake, Kyle Glen Peterson (Kimberly Peterson) of Big Lake and Keli Rae Wilson (Jim Wilson) of Buckeye, Arizona. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery (23605 Pioneer Hwy, Stanwood, WA 98292).
