We bid farewell to Alen Sophus Federspiel of Stanwood, Washington, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 21, 2025 at the age of 94. Alen Sophus touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Otto Federspiel and Ella Christine Tollefson (Hatton); his siblings, Kenneth Otto, George Edward and Lois Christine; his daughter Kirsten Marie; and his wife Lynne.
He is survived by: his family Alen; his siblings, Ralph Rodney (Trudy) and Linda Lou; his sons, Paul Alen, Patrick Joseph (Chanel) and Peter Michael (Cara); his friend Fritzie Gibbons; his daughters, Gretchen Magnuson (Eric) and Suzanne Caldwell (late Eric); his grandson Clayton (Sy); and his children, Gunnar, Tennyson, Stryker, Braeden, Garett, Téa, Grayce and Ryder. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Camano Center (606 Arrowhead Rd, Camano, WA 98282).
