He is survived by: his children, William Sheppard, Mary Mortenson (Jason), Sara McCauley (Matthew), Cassandra Fixel (Michael Scheele), Kayla Sheppard (Kenneth Nichols) and Codi Rosenthal (James); his sons-in-law, Kevin Dixon and Michael Lund; his grandchildren, Kayla Rueckert, George Dixon, Mathew McCauley, Hannah McCauley, Sebastian Mortenson, Russell Hewitt, Nicholas Lund, Maximus, Isabella, Penelope, Spencer Nichols, Renee, James, Boden and Rosenthal; his great grandchild Blayze; and his sister Vernita Sheppard.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Springdale Grange Hall (214 N Main St, Springdale, WA 99173).
