He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Hyslop and Catherine Hyslop; his close friends, Lukins, Annis and Bill; his wife Deborah; his children, Jeffrey (Carolyn) of Spokane and Kathleen of Seattle; and his siblings, Mary Ann (Jim) of Portland, Thomas, Jr. (Vivian) of Liberty Lake and Robert (Melodee) of Spokane. He was also cherished by three grandchildren.
He served on the board of the Legal Foundation of Washington, which distributes funds to legal aid organizations throughout Washington, and he was active in the Equal Justice Coalition.
