He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Arnold and Elizabeth Ruth Sams (Renshaw); his first-borns, Harold W. Sams and Richard W. Sams; his siblings, James Arnold, Ronald Harry, Charles Eugene, Harold Dean, Betty Ruth Winey and Carol Ann Anglen; and his son Harold Wayne Sams (Nancy).
He is survived by: his children, Angela L. Russell (Richard) of Buchannan, MI, Philip A. Sams of Spokane, WA and Robert A. Sams (Robin) of Rosamond, CA; his wife Nancy Ellen Bocook; and also Shirley Bocook. He is also survived by numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
