He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans W. Olson and Thelma M. Olson. He is survived by: his great grandchild Dominic; his children, Alexa Cooke (Jay), Andrea Becker (Jeff), Anita Hansen (Ken), Adora Becker and Brett Olson (Arlene); and his sister Mavis Gustafson (Darrel). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
