We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2024, at the age of 101, Tosh Takayasu Kirihara of Spokane, Washington, born in Auburn, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Tosh Takayasu departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Tosh Takayasu may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Tosh Takayasu leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Yoneichi Kirihara (Frank) and Asano Fujiwara. He is survived by: his wife Amy; his children, Leslie, Donald (Denise Kervin) and Jean; his granddaughter Caitlin (David Painter); his great grandchild West (Painter); and his siblings, Jimmy (Ann), Michael (Junko) and Hollie. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces.
